Events and Festivals Calendar for 2019

Orkney is steeped in traditions and therefore supports a wide range of cultural events and activities that take place throughout the year, some of which are internationally renowned and well worth a visit if your holiday coincides. Some of the main festivals are set out below, but there are others including sailing regattas, Stromness Shopping Week, drama festivals and more.
